the best medicine

In the past few hours I have:

~ heard Ryenne say, "G'morning mama. I love you"
~ gotten Kai out of his bed and received a giant bear hug from him
~ heard Cruz coo at me when I changed him
~ received a kiss from Kai just for giving him his favorite cereal

these little things truly are the very best medicine.
