Almost One!

It's amazing how a baby transforms into a toddler. Everyday I can see how my baby is growing and she won't be a baby much longer!

She is pushing chairs around the house and is getting more confident. I know that soon she'll not need the support and just walk on her own. Her curiosity is amazing. I'm sure I'll never know all the cool things that are going on in her growing mind!

I love these pictures of her. We were plaing peek-a-boo with the bedsheets and she was having so much fun! Her laugh is amazing.

Lots of New Pictures!

I've been such a spazz with posting lately. Lots of new pictures of the munchkin though! Enjoy!

She has grown immensely in the past week. She has started to wave hello and goodbye, she can point to her nose, and she's said "Noshe" which is Nose a couple of times. She is desperate in wanting walk but hasn't stood up on her own for more than a couple seconds yet. She's obsessed with her baths and is starting to eat more food. Her favorite is chicken and rice with cream of mushrooms soup and greenbeans. She gobbles it up!

11 months!!

Yesterday was Ry's 11 month birthday. It amazes me how big she's getting. She knows where her tongue is and we're working on nose, eyes, and mouth. She's so fast crawling around and loves to pull up on everything! I can't believe she's going to be 1 next month!

NC Pictures

'Bout time I posted these! There's a bunch more on the small camera. We got some pictures in front of model homes and stuff. =)

These were taken just before our trip. We took Ry to the Westin in her outfit for her 10 month pictures. These are also being used for her Bday invitation.

She is such a beautiful princess!!

WooHoo! North Carolina!

It's about darn time that I post!

We had an awesome time in North Carolina... here's the play by play.

We left Kahului on April 18th at 8:45pm and flew first to Salt Lake City, Utah, where there was snow on the mountains and it was COLD! We then flew to Atlanta, and finally landed in Raleigh at 5pm. Ryenne was an absolute angel on the plane. When we finally got to the Sheraton Raleigh, we were all exhausted. We slept for 14 hours.

On Friday we drove around Raleigh and Cary. Did some shopping and of course eating!!

On Saturday morning we checked out some model homes in Apex and then hit the road to drive to Wilmington where we met up with my No Drama Mama's group.

Sunday we met up at Wrightsville Beach and all the babies had a great time eating sand and we put our feet in the (cold) Atlantic ocean for the first time.
While in Wilmington, we stayed at the Best Western right on the Cape Fear river. We could see the battleship North Carolina from our window. And the hotel sits where the boats used to unload goods to trains and there were some really cool trains right outside the hotel door.

We headed back to Raleigh on Monday and checked into the Embassy Suites in a different part of town than the Sheraton. We looked at a neighborhood in Cary that has homes designed by Martha Stewart. When we walked into the very first house, it was painted with the exact color that I chose for our condo and I said "I'm Home!". It was just beautiful!

Tuesday we met with a realtor and looked at some homes currently on the market. It seems like a hot market, as homes are usually scooped up within a month!

I was pleasantly surprised by North Carolina - especially Raleigh and Cary. It was way prettier than I had anticipated and I could definitely picture us living there. I really hope to be off Maui by the time Ryenne starts school. I just don't want her exposed to our terrible school system here. Plus, seeing how life could be somewhere else sure is eye opening!

I will post pictures soon!!!

Big Girl Fun!

This was the first time I took her into the play area at Ka'ahumanu Shopping Center. She had a blast! And boy is that girl STRONG! She climbed the octopus all by herself and was really upset when I tried to help her or hold onto her so she wouldn't fall. We were in there for a good half hour and she tuckered herself out. I think I need to take her there more often!!

Thanks, Gams!

Thanks Gams! Ryenne loves her new carseat! It's so girly and perfect and Peter's glad it's purple and not pink! haha

More Easter Fun!

A little late posting these!! We went to Lahaina Cannery Mall to see the Easter Bunny. Got some cute pics and she was SMILING! I'll post those later cause they didn't sell the digital file (bummer). She was NOT thrilled about these bunny ears though! haha

Then on Monday night we had Easter with the gang at Mar & Gev's house and Ry had so much fun. You can see in the one picture of me and her that she is holding an egg in each hand!

Early Easter

There was an Easter Egg hunt at the park down the street from our house this afternoon. It was lots of fun and there were tons of people there. Unfortunately, the bigger kids all came and took all the eggs that were hidden in the baby section. Poor babies just weren't fast enough! But we got some great pictures!

I think the grass was bothering her knees! She was crawling so funny... heeheehee

Just so tired after that huntin! And look, she's still got the easter egg! hehe

Recent Pictures

Ryenne wants to walk so badly! She can take her toy across the room if she's not too tired. But she does tend to be a little clumsy like her mama!

Maui Ocean Center!

Last week we went to the Maui Ocean Center - it was Ryenne's first time, and we took Uncle Nick and Pops along to celebrate Nico's birthday!
