Ry was moved up to a higher level of reading. She was excited until she realized that she wasn't going to be in Ms. Lum's reading class anymore. So now she goes to Ms. Lum's class after school for a hug before we head home.

School pictures came in!
The kids have been keeping me busy, busy, busy! Sadly, work has been slow but bookings are coming in for later, which is always good.

Kai has been having major issues since our Oahu trip. He will be fine and then will just freak out at the smallest thing. I was thankful that he had his 4 year old checkup the other day. I was terribly embarrassed that he had bruises on his back from Cruz biting him (I'll talk about this in a minute...). Our pediatrician at Kaiser is AWESOME. She took the time to listen to me about everything that is NOT in his medical chart - everything that we went through with him. And when I mentioned to her that he is regressing, she had questions for me then suggested a referral to a child development specialist and child neurologist. She did say it can take up to 6 months for the referral (only one of each in the entire state), but she understood all my concerns and I was so grateful for that. She said she is pro-vaccine, but under these circumstances she cannot recommend he get them and I agreed.

It definitely tries my patience to have a boy who understands what I'm saying and cannot physically bring himself past a mental block. It's frustrating and heartbreaking all at the same time. I have to keep my cool. Regression especially happens when he's tired, but sometimes it'll be the strangest thing - like his shoe not in the right place. So dealing with that... and then there's Cruz. Cruz is going through major two year old stuff right now. When he is having a hard time expressing himself, he bites and pushes and hits. We all have bite marks. And he's not staying in his bed. I swear I feel like I'm at my wits end 99% of the time. Just been a rough few weeks I guess.

CrossFit has been going great. I'm on day 21 of a 30 day challenge with no grains, minimal sugar, no dairy. Been doing really good. My scale needs new batteries so I'm not sure if any weight is gone. But I have discovered I'm really, really sensitive to anything with gluten.

And some big news... but you have to be really quiet about it because a certain little Ryenne has NO IDEA this is coming. We leave on Thursday for Disneyland with just Ryenne. She doesn't know that we're going anywhere. Peter and I are going to tell her that we have a photo shoot on Oahu and she can come but the  boys have to stay with Grandma and Papa. We arrive into LA late at night and then we're off to DLand the next day. She is going to be so surprised. I am honestly really looking forward to spending time with her without the boys.
