To Heaven and Back

It happened the other day. I knew it would happen at some point.

Ryenne was being naughty and got into trouble and I put her in the naughty spot. She looked me square in the eye and yelled, "I don't love you anymore!"

Gasp.

I felt a crack in my heart but stood steadfast to her punishment.

Last night I told her I love her. She said she loved me more. I told her I love her to the Moon and back. She said, "Oh yeah? Well I love you to Heaven and Back. And that's farther." I couldn't argue with that.
