Sparkly Things

Yet another attempt for a picture with all three.... meh...  Peter and I simultaneously yelled, "Cruz! Get that outta your mouth!!!"

 Heehee... looks like he's trying to untangle the wires :)

 Ryenne has been gathering these giant acorns. Acorns are a new fascination. There are no acorns in Hawaii. And I didn't think that they got this big!

I had this really lame thing of glue. The glue barely sputtered out so we'll have to try this again with a fresh bottle of glue. I had the kids use old toothbrushes to put the glue on.

 I was surprised that Ryenne used the green. I thought for sure it was going to be a purely pink acorn!

 Kai  concentrated VERY hard on this project!

 The sparkly acorns are now resting on our tree. They are lovely!

And Cruzer got to eat some pumpkin apple sauce. He really liked it!

 Today was a really nice day. It started out a bit shaky since Ryenne and Kai both decided to wake up at 5am. We had an appointment at 8am in North Austin to meet a doggy that's in foster care right now. She is an amazing mini-dachsund pup. Dexter needs a friend really badly. He has started to bite himself and lick himself like crazy causing sores on his thighs. So we put in an application for this pup and are just in wait mode. She was so excited to see Dex this morning and was jumping on him and licking him and she adored Ryenne, Kai, and even Cruz!
