We're home now but...

We're sick!!

The flight home went well - Ryenne was awake the entire time. We left Huntington Beach at 5:30am and I thought for sure she'd go down for the plane but she didn't. We got back home at noon and Peter was already sick a few days in Anaheim and Huntington Beach.

I started getting stuffy headed and by that evening, we both had full blown head colds. Ryenne has been totally fine. She's been sleeping well and is super active. Peter and I, however, have been sick this entire time.

He's had to take time off from work to recover which has hurt us financially big time. But resting is what we both need right now!

I'm hoping that we'll be 100% better really soon!

Dinner with Mariflor & Glen

Mariflor and Glen drove up from San Diego and we had a BBQ dinner at Lucille's BBQ. Ryenne was such a good girl and LOVED ribs! That was her first time having them and she kept saying "More! More!"

Some More...

Loving Disneyland!

Character's!

California Dreams

DISNEYLAND!!!

Ryenne has blown me away at Disneyland. I figured she was going to be way too young to really appreciate this magical place. But upon entering, her eyes grew big and she pointed out characters and has had the most gigantic smiles on her face.

While she's too young for the big rides, she has enjoyed many rides. Among her favorites are the Tiki Tiki Room, the Winnie the Pooh ride, Buzz Lightyear, and the Casey Junior Train.

Our first day at Disneyland was on Wednesday and we stayed in the park as long as we could but got too cold and had to go back to the hotel (Isn't SoCal supposed to warm?). We did California Adventure on Thursday and went back to DLand on Friday. But by Friday the park was PACKED and we didn't ride anything.

The moment we stepped onto Disney property, I felt like I was 6 years old again. It's been amazing to experience Disneyland through the eyes of Ryenne. As we went through the park and she was so excited, all I could think was "GOD BLESS YOU WALT DISNEY!". It's truly amazing and magical.

Ryenne met several characters, but her favorites by far were Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger. She kissed Pooh's nose and wanted to eat his honey out of the honey pots!

Pictures are coming in separate posts.

More Oregon Pictures

Here's some pictures from our last days in Oregon. I think I mentioned before how amazing the house was that we stayed in - we had to get a picture on the front porch! The group picture is all of us "The Gang". It was so much fun hanging out with everyone! And the picture in front of the fireplace is our 'Ohana and the Utrillo 'Ohana - just before we're leaving to go to Anaheim!

Oregon Pictures So Far

Today was a beautiful day! We went on a horse drawn carriage ride today. Ryenne was in heaven. She loved the horses so much! It's cold and beautiful out here. The snow is magical and sparkles in the sunlight.

It is a strange place though - definitely not as culturally diverse as Hawaii is. This entire time I have not seen one Asian person, any black people, and I only saw three Mexicans. Strange!!

We Saw Snow!!

We're in Oregon right now for Heidi & Aris' wedding and we woke up this morning to see snow falling for the first time! It was so amazing! We're staying in a 5000 square foot home in Sunriver with an indoor pool. It's an amazing home!

We're taking lots of pictures and will be posting soon!
