Ry Videos

Two Videos from Christmas!

More Pictures

Sorry... these were supposed to be the first pics on the previous post but they didn't upload.

Christmas Day

We got home from Napili at 1am so I didn't have a chance to make cookies and leave them for Santa. I was exhausted!! So I think next year we'll re-think the back-to-back Napili/Haiku scenario and figure out how to make it easier on me!

We had a wonderful Christmas! I woke up at 8:30am and started making breakfast. Ry woke up at 10am and everyone came over. We had a country breakfast of scrambled eggs with cheese, biscuits, sausage gravy, potatoes with onions, bacon, and some blackberries.

Then we did stockings and gifts. Some of the highlights are the rock-a-boat that Nick restored for Ryenne. It was mine as a little girl and he did such an amazing job at bringing it back to life! Kekoa got Nico a heater and it was so nice to see a brotherly bond come back between them.

Another of my favorite things was the pickle boxers that I had found. I wrapped them up for Nick and he was so stoked he put them on right then and there!

Peter got me a beautiful silver and crystal bracelet with Ryenne's name on it. I got him a part for his car that he wanted. Ryenne made out like a bandit with lots of toys, new clothes, and of course her rock-a-boat!

It was such a wonderful day!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started out with Ryenne getting her advent calendar chocolate. It was the last one of the month. I showed her that it was the last one and she insisted on tearing the calendar apart just to make sure! It was so funny!

Peter worked until 9pm so me and Ry cruised around during the day and then headed over to Peter's parents house for our Christmas with them. We had beef stew, rice, Korean chicken, and banana lumpia. Ryenne ate a big kids amount of stew and rice. When Peter got there we did some gifts. Landon kept trying to take Ry's gifts and she was shooing him away. For some reason he liked hers more than his own! Ryenne also got an Elmo stuffed animal that's as big as she is! It's now in her bed and she loves it!

Even Princesses Need Coupons!

Two of my favorite images from today...

Ry loves being a princess. I thought it was hilarious when she picked up th sale flyers and started 'reading'. Too cute!

'Tis the Season!!!

It's definitely the Holiday Season out here in Haiku! We've been enjoying the rainy, cool weather a lot!

I'm not sure if the captions are going to line up with the right pictures... so thanks for your patience in advance! haha

Ry has started out the month with her advent calendar... counting down the days until Christmas! She loves eating her "pocolate" everyday!

We love our Sam Sato's noodles! Ry eats every last bit we put in her bowl and she loves barbeque sticks! She loves her handsome daddy too!

Dominic and LeeAnn got married on the 8th. Ryenne was the flower girl and Peter was a groomsman. We clean up pretty nice I think!

I just love this picture of Ry leaping for the camera!

We went for a baby Christmas party at the Weisberger's house and the kids had so much fun! Except when we tried to get a group pic of the kids, Ry freaked!

And these last pictures are from today! Ryenne has a toddler bed! So far she's slept 3 hours in it last night before climbing into bed with us, and she also had a nap in there today. I am always talking about it like I'm soooo excited and happy for her. So far she's not fought to much with getting in. I think she thinks it's pretty cool!

Ballerina

I got a cheap backdrop holder and put up the white backdrop. Ryenne had so much fun in the ballerina tutu! The purple looks awesome on her!

Put your dukes up Santa!!!

We went to the mall last night to get our Christmas shopping started. Boy was it packed! We should have expected that for a Friday night though.

We ate at Ruby's cause Ry loves the big airplanes in there. Don't know if I've ever mentioned how much she loves airplanes... but anyway, we learned she also loves ranch dressing! She dipped her fries, tomatoes, cucumbers, and her mac-n-cheese in it and ate sooooo good!!

Afterward we visited Santa. Ryenne was really excited until we actually got up to him!! She refused to put her hands down! It was so funny. After we got up she waved bye to Santa and said "good bye".

She's learning her ABC's and can sing "A, B, C, D ..." and then it turns into mumbles. haha

A few more from Reno

A few of the remaining shots from the little camera on our recent trip out to Reno.

Mom and Pop took us out to a horse farm where wild horses are caught and then fed and taken care of. Ry LOVES horses and she loved it. I love the one of her trying to lure a horse to the carrot, but the best one is of all the horse butts! hahahaha

Random Pics

Here's some recent pics off the small camera. Just a bunch of Ry being her super cute self!!!

Oooohhh... on a side note... we put the cable onto Christmas music today and it was playing "Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!" and she kept pointing to her nose. Took me a second to realize she thought it was "Let it nose!". Too cute!

Turkey Day Success!

We actually celebrated Thanksgiving on the actual Thanksgiving this year! For the first time in a long time, Peter got the holiday off. I spent the day cooking a lot! I made everything for the main meal myself. The only cheat I had was powdered potatoes. Haha ... but I was so proud of myself for cooking. And it came out yummy too!

We had us, Koa, Shayna, Nico, and John over. We all ate. Nico got really tired so him and John went home. Then we decorated our beautiful Christmas tree! You'll notice that the picture is only of the top half. I didn't buy enough lights for the bottom. HAHAHAHA
