Oregon and Halloween

For Kai's birthday we took a whirlwind trip to Oregon. It was actually pretty crazy cause on Kai's birthday he had school, then I had a wedding (an epic wedding), then we caught the red-eye to Portland to be with my hanai sisters for 5 days.

Oregon was such a wonderful change of pace. The kids loved it an are begging to go back again soon. The cool weather, the Fall colors, the different type of natural beauty.... it captured all of our hearts and we totally loved it. Can't wait to go back!

We explored Portland and also drove out to the coast, which was so different from our beaches.

Halloween was also great - The kids loaded up on candy, and then got free reign to eat as much as they wanted by today at 1pm and then I got rid of it. This method seems to work great!

Today, November 1, Peter turns 40!!! We headed to Napili this morning for brunch with his family and then we're taking him out to steak tonight. He still looks 25 though - good genes!
