How I Adore Her
Drool
I am borrowing a Leica D-Lux-4 from one of Peter's coworkers. NICE!!! Can you say DROOOOL???? This is an awesome camera to have handy in the good 'ole diaper bag. I'll add it to my *wish* list.
Ryenne in her "totally awesome" (her words, not mine) Star Wars T-shirt. This is the field behind our house.

Fried Dough
It's a dreary, blustery day today. It's almost 11am and it looks like it could be 8pm! We've got a little thunder outside, some rain... it looks green and lush outside. I am loving it.
Since it's an "inside" day today, I figured I'd take Ry for something special to start out her day. We went to Shipley's and got some doughnuts. "With Sprinkles" she told the lady at the store. The lady happily obliged and Ry was over the moon as she put her chocolate doughnut with sprinkles in her mouth. A nice treat for sure!
The lady put one in the box that tasted just like a malasada from home. It was so good. Fried dough with sugar... mmmmmmm
Kai boy is going down for a nap and Ry is watching Mickey Mouse on TV. Laundry is in the washer and dryer, lots of things to clean up around the house. Definitely lots to do today!
I am also going to provide cute little goody books for a launch party for Austin Pregnancy Magazine. If I haven't said so already, I am super duper excited about it. I have an ad going in, an article, and I've just been asked to shoot the cover. The cover shoot will probably be on Monday. EXCITED!
Wishing everyone a great day! XOXO

Easter Pictures!!
The first few pictures of Kai are actually from the other day.... sorry about that. Should have put them in a separate post.
He was making all kinds of cutie faces and was sitting up!
Gerber Baby?
Okay... the Easter pictures start NOW!
Ryenne woke up right before 8am. Peter had just gotten into bed and we told her that the Easter Bunny had visited our house. She was beside herself with excitement! She and I brushed our teeth and I told her to go wake up her Pops.
I heard her enthusiastically running into his room and jumping on his bed yelling "Pops! The Easter Bunny came!!!" and I thought he might like reliving those times when my brothers and I did that to mom and dad when we were little. =)
The hunt is always so much fun (please don't mind my messy house!)
Pops and the Kai Boy. Next year he'll be old enough to hunt with Ryenne =)
After our Easter morning, we went to Erin and Trevor's house for some fun. The kids had an egg hunt and got nice and sugared up. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone and having ono food!
Ry and cousin Mia enjoying their Easter goodies.
What a treat!
What a treat to have our family portrait taken! A few days ago I posted a link to Jen's blog for our sneak peek. Well here are the images!!
Thank you again to Jen Cota for her fabulousness!!!
Happy Easter
We've had a wonderful easter so far! I have lots of pictures to go through... so I'll post those a little later. I just had to post these cute ones of Kai at Erin's house.
Ry woke up at 8am SUPER excited that the Easter Bunny came. She had a great hunt. Then we went and spent the afternoon at Erin and Trevor's beautiful home. So much fun. I'll post more pictures later. =)

Our first Bluebonnet Season!
This is officially our first "Bluebonnet Season" in Texas!! Apparently there aren't many Bluebonnet's this year because of the dry Autumn we had last year... but we did find some to play in. And best yet, they were across the street practically!
There was a beautiful patch of light hitting Kai boy... so pretty.
Stinkerpants was being such a pill! Amazing what a little bribery can do... heehee
Sneak Peak at our Family pics!
My friend Jen, who is a spectacular photographer, did a session for us! Here's our sneak peak... super fab, right??

Kai's Sandy Toes!
Kai boy made 6 months on the first... can you believe it? My kids are just growing waaaay to fast!
Anyway, Nikki invited us out to Horseshoe Bay and it was a beautiful day. A little windy, but really clear and sunny.
Kai got to go to the "beach" for the first time ever! He LOVED it. He got his toes nice and sandy, ate some delicious sand, got sand in every nether-region of his body... LOL
And here's the kicker... I put him down to try to sit and hoped he wouldn't just fall right over as he usually does... and he sat there for a good minute so I could take some pictures! WooHoo!!
First time those piggy toes are touching sand!!
Kai, Makena, and Ry love the beach!
Ry loves goggles. She just doesn't know how to use them yet! heehee

Awwwww
Dang it... needed the big camera
We went to Starbucks and they had this bench with this amazing damask fabric and the window lighting was just gorgeous. I did have my little purse camera, but man I wish I had the big camera with me! It would have been soooo gorgeous! It would have been even better if little girl would cooperate with me... *sigh*
She's still a cutie-potamus though... love her to pieces.
