Family Dining Out

It's so rare that we go to an actual restaurant with the kids. It's usually me and Peter eating as quickly as we possibly can while toddlers throw food on the floor and have meltdowns. Hardly an event worth spending money on.

But, we decided to give it a go on Saturday after Peter was pau with work. We took the kids into Lahaina town to Cool Cat Cafe - we're again looking for that elusive good burger. The kids were so amazing! We had a table that overlooked Front Street and the boys watched the cars, bikes, and motorcycles pass. Everyone ate and nobody threw a tantrum. Could it be? Have we finally reached a stage where we can dine in public with our kids?

After dinner we walked across the street to the Banyan Tree and Sea Wall and played until the sun went down. It was total perfection. I love moments like these!!
