Put your dukes up Santa!!!

We went to the mall last night to get our Christmas shopping started. Boy was it packed! We should have expected that for a Friday night though.

We ate at Ruby's cause Ry loves the big airplanes in there. Don't know if I've ever mentioned how much she loves airplanes... but anyway, we learned she also loves ranch dressing! She dipped her fries, tomatoes, cucumbers, and her mac-n-cheese in it and ate sooooo good!!

Afterward we visited Santa. Ryenne was really excited until we actually got up to him!! She refused to put her hands down! It was so funny. After we got up she waved bye to Santa and said "good bye".

She's learning her ABC's and can sing "A, B, C, D ..." and then it turns into mumbles. haha

A few more from Reno

A few of the remaining shots from the little camera on our recent trip out to Reno.

Mom and Pop took us out to a horse farm where wild horses are caught and then fed and taken care of. Ry LOVES horses and she loved it. I love the one of her trying to lure a horse to the carrot, but the best one is of all the horse butts! hahahaha

Random Pics

Here's some recent pics off the small camera. Just a bunch of Ry being her super cute self!!!

Oooohhh... on a side note... we put the cable onto Christmas music today and it was playing "Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!" and she kept pointing to her nose. Took me a second to realize she thought it was "Let it nose!". Too cute!

Turkey Day Success!

We actually celebrated Thanksgiving on the actual Thanksgiving this year! For the first time in a long time, Peter got the holiday off. I spent the day cooking a lot! I made everything for the main meal myself. The only cheat I had was powdered potatoes. Haha ... but I was so proud of myself for cooking. And it came out yummy too!

We had us, Koa, Shayna, Nico, and John over. We all ate. Nico got really tired so him and John went home. Then we decorated our beautiful Christmas tree! You'll notice that the picture is only of the top half. I didn't buy enough lights for the bottom. HAHAHAHA

When she says, "Mama"

It's amazing how smart little kids are. Ryenne is so intuitive... so smart... so understanding. Everyday she's doing new things.

For a while now she's pointed to herself and says "Ry Ry", but today she saw herself in the mirror, stared for a little while, and said "Ryenne". I was so proud of her! She also knows how to give kisses and hugs, but she usually will just give a hug and avoid the kiss altogether.

Today was different though. She had a cold today and I was snuggling with her and taking care of her all day. Today she handed out the kisses and in the sweetest voice said, "Mama" throughout the day. To hear her say that in such a caring, understanding fashion just made my day. No, my year. No... probably my life!

As Thanksgiving approaches, I realize everyday what I'm most thankful for. And she's definitely at the top of the list!

Yes I'm slacking!

I'm slacking with my posts! I have more pictures from our trip to post but haven't downloaded them off my camera. When I came home I had photo shoots for a few days in a row and have fallen into the routine of daily cleaning and all that junk. I've got some great pictures to post, so if Ry is a good girl tomorrow and quits trying to climb my leg then I can post them! =)

Ryenne turned 17 months old on the 5th and she's going through a major daredevil stage. She has been climbing EVERYTHING and not listening to me. Today I scolded her for jumping on the couch (she fell the other day and hit her head HARD) and she laughed in my face. Ok.... so I think the testing stage is happening NOW!! I can handle it... I know I can!

She is starting to do some new cute things. She picks up the phone and says, "Herro" which is freaking adorable!! She points to herself and says "Ry Ry" and loves looking at pictures and pointing herself out. She's started talking about pee pee which is great cause I hope she's an early potty trainer. Today she told me she pee peed in her diaper - progress! Truly... these are things only the parent of a toddler can appreciate. Sorry to the rest of you who are reading this!

I've been really proud of myself picking up my walking routine. I've been doing 2 - 3 miles daily! Yay!!!

For Peter

Hey babe!! Ryenne and I miss you tons! I liked how this picture came out, so just wanted to show you so you don't forget what your wifey looks like.

Love you bunches! XOXOXO

Ry and Misabella

I swear I got pictures with Molley and Kupono too, but Ryenne and Misa really love each other and these pictures came out so darn cute.

Pumpkin Patch!!!

We went to Ry's first ever trip to a pumpkin patch!! She got to ride on a pony... she was SO CUTE. She loved riding it. She also got some balloons and got to sit on hay and walk around the pumpkins. Lots of fun!

Off to Reno!

From Livermore, we stopped by Aunt Anita's in Folsom, but for some dumb reason I forgot my camera in the car so I don't have pictures from there.

But we went to Mom and Dad's house in Reno... well Lemmon Valley actually. Here's some pictures from Grammie and Grampy's house and also from shopping with Auntie Lini!

Visiting tia Aura

From Grandmama's we drove out to Livermore to visit tia Aura and family. We had a great lunch with Aura, Jesika, Tracie, and the grandkids Cadence ande Layla!

Grandmama's House

A couple pictures from Grandmama's house in San Jose. Gosh... miss you already so much Grandmama! It was awesome hanging out with Grandmama and Solo the doggy. Ry enjoyed playing on the stairs and also watching Sadie the cat. She loved the pumpkins out front!

On the Mainland!

We flew into Oakland on 10/22 and stayed the night at Uncle Johnny and Auntie Patti's house in Lafayette. We had a nice, but short, visit with them!

Dancing Flower Fairy

Argh - blogger was down when I tried to put these up yesterday.

Well here they are! My beautiful Flower Fairy. Ryenne was giddy as I put the dress on her. She was ALL SMILES and prancing around the backyard. I sure have a girly girl on my hands!

Just after a photo shoot...

Ryenne and Peter got to come along to the beach while I photographing a really nice couple. Ry loved to run around in the sand. She had sand EVERYWHERE.

Various Things

We took Ry to the county fair last weekend and it was a lot of fun. I'll post those pics soon.

In the meantime, here's a picture of Ry trying to help her daddy put the child locks on the cabinets. We gave her a little tool so she felt like she was helping!

And here's yet another of Nick's new boats! It's BIG!!!!

A Country Girl Who Likes Her Tutu's

Beautiful Ryenne has a new tooth! A Molar came in which explains all the drool and fusiness. Not sure if I've mentioned it before...

Anyway, we've been enjoying feeding the goats across the street and Ry just loves it. Especially when I let her do it herself. Her feet have grown again and she fits into the crocs now. While I hate the style, they are good for little feet and they give plenty of foot room. Koa HATES it that she wears them.

I just love the profile picture of her where you can see her super long eyelashes. I think I might frame that one. She's so beautiful.

I got some various tutus for doing portraits and Ry wanted to put one on. SO CUTE! It's a little big for her, but shortly after I took this picure she went and got her pearl necklace on and was the belle of the ball in the living room.

Visit with Uncle Shane

Peter's cousin Shane visited from Las Vegas. It was his first time to meet Ryenne. I felt so bad cause he wanted to hold her and she was being so SHY! She wouldn't budge from my arms. But it was a nice visit and we had a good time seeing you and the family Shane!

Sweet, sweet girl

Ry is such a funny girl. She either likes to be naked or completely decked out with shoes and a necklace. She's got a nice collection going, but her favorite necklace are her pearls! Such a girly girl.

We had a fun time playing with water in the backyard. She started outside the bin, but then wanted to sit inside. She thought that it was so funny!

She's been really into sitting in boxes lately. Last night we had a big one and she was trying to close the top over herself. I kept asking if she wanted to mail herself somewhere!
