Today was beach day. It was wonderful. The entire family headed to Napili Bay with buckets and beach umbrella in tow. It took 3 cars, but we made it!
The weather was wonky... sunny and then rainy and then sunny again. After a while of playing, Cruz and his cousin, Chayce (Shaun's boy) passed out together under the beach umbrella.

Can you see the rain?
This last one is actually from the other day in Haiku. It was just so gorgeous outside. I had forgotten to email it to myself.
We all got lots of sun (though not sunburned) and got a nice layer of salt on us. We've all been pretty lethargic all day. Hopefully it'll be an early bedtime for us all!

Peaceful
What a week it's been. I've been all over the place really enjoying and soaking up everything around me.
I slept over at Nico's house and hung out with him, Abra, and Koa and we went and had tacos and watched sunset on the beach. It was a great time without the kids - for me to just be a grown up - although it was funny when Abra asked me what I do for fun.... my answer, "We go to Target, we turn on music and dance, we go for walks" -- ah the life of a parent. :)
I also had the chance to join a photographers group on Maui and they had their June meet up at the Lahaina Animal Farm. It was absolutely spectacular and gorgeous. The photographers that participated with chill and awesome. There was no sense of competition - just good fun. To say the place is magical would be an understatement.
I took Ryenne with me and she had an amazing time!
We have also gone on play dates with friends - to Aris and Heidi's house in Haiku, and to Liana's house in Kihei. The kids have been playing a TON.
I met up with my friend Brandon yesterday for my tattoo. I'm what he calls "A Bleeder" so I'm going to have to go back for more shading when I heal more. It's the three kiddos - it's sweet and I love it.
Aside from Peter and my parents not being here - I'm at almost complete and total happiness. Them all being here would just take it over the top. I can't wait until Peter gets here and we can experience all of this together.

Laughs
I'm knee deep in editing - a good problem to have - but me and Ryenne went to Lahaina Animal Farm yesterday for a photographers shoot out. It was so much fun. I had such a great time with her. I just had to post one image..... swoon.

Mama's Fish House and MUD!
We got such a special treat the other night... dinner at Mama's Fish House with Nico, Abra, Uncle Jeff, and cousin Miles. What an amazing treat!
It was really special taking Ryenne to Kuau Cove and showing her where I used to play when I was younger. She thought it was beautiful and amazing. Couldn't agree more.
We enjoyed such an amazing evening. Big mahalo's to Uncle Jeff for hooking us up with such a wonderful night!
Yesterday we hung out at home. Cruz liked hanging out with Auntie Jean.
Then everyone left for a party and Ry and Landon got to go. I was home with the boys so I decided to let them go outside and play in the mud. Took off Cruz's diaper and Kai was nekkid of course.
It was really special watching them both playing with the hose and the mud and the trucks. They liked watering the plants and were really sweet with each other. Kai's face is changing. I can tell anyway... it's so much more like a little boy and not a toddler. Getting close to THREE.
This morning the coconuts were cut off the trees in the backyard. There were SO MANY from several trees. It was getting dangerous for the kids to be hanging out back there. So they came down.
We ate fresh coconut and fresh pineapples this afternoon. It was awesome.

Ice Cream Date
This morning Uncle Pat and Auntie Lisa took Ryenne and Landon to Kahului for shopping. Cruz got to facetime with his favorite pup - Emmy Tomimbang. Cruz loves Emmy and Em loves Cruz. I could tell they missed each other.
After Cruz went down for a nap, I took Kai on an ice cream date. We headed to Whaler's Village and each had a scoop of Haagen Dazs. Kai liked the chocolate.
Kai and I walked around the mall together and headed out to Kaanapali Beach to play around in the sand.
We had a great time just us. It was pretty special.
Later in the afternoon Cruz was having fun playing with Uncle Evan. I had to get a picture of them together since they're both HaolePino's. :)
It was a fun day - I ended the day with a great sunset shoot in Lahaina.

Day in Haiku
We started our day out with two little monkeys sleeping with me.
We headed to Costco where I signed up for my own membership and picked up a pizza to take to Haiku.
These pictures are all out of order... sorry. Internet is acting really crazy over here.
We had lunch with Uncle Nico and Uncle Tyler. We played with Chevron Cars. Then we headed outside to pick out bamboo which Uncle Nico made into fishing poles for the kids.
Ryenne caught three fish in the pond. Kai was afraid of the fish but did great. Cruz loved cruising around. He checked out Pig Pig, the puppies, and everything around the farm.
We also played badminton - which Ry and Kai thought was totally awesome. It was a wonderful time with Pickle and the kidlets.
After Nico's house we headed to Aris and Heidi's house to play with the girls. They had a total blast. I loved seeing how instantly Ryenne and Taylor reconnected.
We had a quick stop at Whole Foods on the way home to pick up coconut milk. And here's another grocery store tale for you... although this one is quite different from my last grocery store stories.
We were in the bulk section when Ry told me she had to go #2. I had both boys in the cart and I didn't know where the bathroom was. So I asked an employee and he told me to follow him. The bathrooms were in the back of the house area and I asked if I could take the cart with the boys into the bathroom and he said I definitely could. So I wheeled all of us into the bathroom and set Ry up in a stall and started playing with the boys.
A woman came in the bathroom and noted what a brood I had with me. I continued to check on Ry, who was having a hard time, and playing with the boys and singing and laughing. When the woman came out to wash her hands, she looked at me and told me, "I just want you to know that hearing your sweet voice with your kids totally made my night. I wish more moms talked to their kids like you do." and she smiled at me and I thanked her and she left. What she didn't know is that her comment totally made MY night. I helped Ry finish up and we hit up the rest of our grocery shopping.
A lot of people comment to me that it must be hard grocery shopping with three kids in tow. It's actually one of my favorite activities with them. We love grocery shopping together and looking at food and colors and talking about it.
Yesterday was totally awesome. Such an amazing, wonderful day!
