Day in Haiku

We started our day out with two little monkeys sleeping with me.
We headed to Costco where I signed up for my own membership and picked up a pizza to take to Haiku.

These pictures are all out of order... sorry. Internet is acting really crazy over here.

We had lunch with Uncle Nico and Uncle Tyler. We played with Chevron Cars. Then we headed outside to pick out bamboo which Uncle Nico made into fishing poles for the kids.

Ryenne caught three fish in the pond. Kai was afraid of the fish but did great. Cruz loved cruising around. He checked out Pig Pig, the puppies, and everything around the farm.

We also played badminton - which Ry and Kai thought was totally awesome. It was a wonderful time with Pickle and the kidlets.

After Nico's house we headed to Aris and Heidi's house to play with the girls. They had a total blast. I loved seeing how instantly Ryenne and Taylor reconnected.

We had a quick stop at Whole Foods on the way home to pick up coconut milk. And here's another grocery store tale for you... although this one is quite different from my last grocery store stories.

We were in the bulk section when Ry told me she had to go #2. I had both boys in the cart and I didn't know where the bathroom was. So I asked an employee and he told me to follow him. The bathrooms were in the back of the house area and I asked if I could take the cart with the boys into the bathroom and he said I definitely could. So I wheeled all of us into the bathroom and set Ry up in a stall and started playing with the boys.

A woman came in the bathroom and noted what a brood I had with me. I continued to check on Ry, who was having a hard time, and playing with the boys and singing and laughing. When the woman came out to wash her hands, she looked at me and told me, "I just want you to know that hearing your sweet voice with your kids totally made my night. I wish more moms talked to their kids like you do." and she smiled at me and I thanked her and she left. What she didn't know is that her comment totally made MY night. I helped Ry finish up and we hit up the rest of our grocery shopping.

A lot of people comment to me that it must be hard grocery shopping with three kids in tow. It's actually one of my favorite activities with them. We love grocery shopping together and looking at food and colors and talking about it.

Yesterday was totally awesome. Such an amazing, wonderful day!
