Mom and Dad Dagupion sent me and Peter money for Christmas. This translated into a date night for us. Our dear friends, The Moore's, took our kiddos and Peter and I headed for downtown Austin.
We went to Max's Wine Dive, on San Jacinto. We had an amazing dinner of Mac-n-cheese with truffle oil, fried chicken sliders (so ono!), drunken bread (think Christmas breakfast with wine in it!), and a brownie ala mode. We talked about our hopes and dreams for 2011.
Afterward we took a walk up to the 32nd floor of the Four Seasons Residences and had an amazing view over downtown Austin. This was with the old point-and-shoot through a window so it's not the best quality... but the view of the Frost Tower and Capitol Building were AWESOME!
Cruz has officially started to wave hello and goodbye. He has also started getting frustrated with not being able to walk and has bonked his head against the floor several times resulting in a bruise on his forehead. Poor baby!
