Last night at dinnertime we got on the computer and Skyped "Happy New Year" with the Dagupion 'Ohana in Napili. The kids had so much fun seeing everyone on the computer.
And then Uncle Patrick came on the camera and Kai froze in Peter's lap. Something was clearly going on in his head. And he looked at Pat and said, "Daddy?" and then turned around and looked at Peter and said, "Daddy?" and he just couldn't figure out why there was one daddy holding him and why there was another one on the computer. He was totally confused. We kept explaining to him that the person on the computer was his Uncle Patrick - Daddy's brother - but he didn't understand. He was totally perplexed. We all got a big laugh out of it.
